This beautiful family has been with Amanda Rabon Photography from the beginning. I’ve photographed them four times now: when Lily was 6 months, 9 months, 1 year old  and now at 3 years old. I couldn’t be more honored to have been able to document Lily growing up and now, to document the family growing! As you’ll see in the pictures below, Lily is making a big announcement!

One of my very favorite things that I’ve gotten through marriage is more siblings. Growing up, my brother was my absolute best friend. And now, I’m blessed to have two more brothers, three more sisters and one more soon-to-be-sister.

I especially love having a sister that I can text and say something along the lines of “I’m obsessed with a wall in the mountains and I want to take photos there. Are you in?” And we jump in the car, take photos between which we laugh hysterically, and eat mountain pies at Beau Jo’s.

Thanks for a fun adventure, Rebekah!

I was put into contact with this lovely family through some mutual friends of ours who know them from being stationed together with the Air Force. Tara, her husband, and kiddos were in town for Christmas and her mom wanted family pictures as her gift. This family was not only super photogenic, but as sweet as can be as well. The Colorado weather kept changing every few minutes from overcast to sun, but despite the chilly air, they kept on smiling and having a good time. There was even a dance party to Justin Timberlake at the end!

Colorado is very fickle when it comes to spring weather. We’ve had some glorious days in the 70s and we have had a blizzard that left us under two feet of snow– all in the last two weeks. When the forecast called for snow again this weekend, I decided to take advantage of the lightly falling snow for a shoot with my beautiful friend, Victoria. Victoria has been dancing her whole life, and even spent some time out in NYC being a triple threat- dancer, singer and actress. She is a pro at portraits and knew exactly how to move her body and face to get a great shot- making my job so easy! We happened to do this shoot on International Dance Day, so we definitely had to get some of her amazingly talented dance moves in there!
